Fire and Life Safety - 06 - Fire Sprinkler Systems

    3. a. National Fire Protection Association Standard No. 13
     
    b. California Fire Code
     
    c. California Plumbing Code

  3. Automatic fire sprinkler systems are mandatory for the following types of buildings:


    4. a. All new buildings.
     
    b. Existing campus buildings undergoing major remodeling. Confirm with the project manager the scope of the fire sprinkler work.
     
    c. Newly purchased buildings that are to be renovated. Note: A building (as defined in the Building Code) is any structure used or intended for supporting or sheltering any use or occupancy. Confirm with the project manager the scope of the fire sprinkler work.
